Lavender Paradise
5 oz / 142 g · 25–30 hour burn · Coconut soy wax
This is the candle for the end of the day. Light it before a bath or an hour before bed. The lavender is green and herbal, so it calms the room without a sweet, heavy smell. A purple wax flower, set on by hand, sits on top.

How to use
Lavender Paradise is a candle for the end of the day. Use these steps to get the full scent in a bedroom or bathroom.
- Keep the first burn going for two to three hours, until the melted wax touches the glass all around. After this, the candle burns evenly each time.
- Trim the wick to 6 mm each time before you light it.
- Light it 30 minutes before you go to bed or run a bath. The scent is then in the room when you arrive.
- Put it out before you sleep. Never leave it lit when you leave the room.
- Four hours is the longest single burn. A longer burn makes a carbon ball on the wick, and the flame smokes.
- The purple wax blooms melt into the pool as the candle burns.
- Stop burning it when 1 cm of wax is left in the jar. Clean the jar with warm soapy water and use it for cotton pads or hair ties.

Frequently asked questions
What does Lavender Paradise smell like?
True lavender and eucalyptus at the top, rosemary and fresh mint in the middle, and patchouli, pine and vetiver underneath. It is herbal and earthy, closer to a lavender field than to a laundry product.
Is it a sleep candle?
Many people burn lavender as part of a wind-down routine. We make no medical claim. Light it 20 to 30 minutes before you want the room to feel settled, and put it out before you sleep.
Are the purple flowers real lavender?
No. They are coconut soy wax. Nothing on this candle is food or plant matter, and the flowers melt into the pool as the candle burns.
How long does a 5 oz candle burn?
25 to 30 hours, depending on how long you burn it each time and how draughty the room is.
Why is my candle burning down the middle?
That is tunnelling, and it is set on the first burn. Let a new candle burn two to three hours until the melted wax reaches the edge of the jar.
Is coconut soy different from plain soy?
Yes. Coconut wax holds fragrance oil better than soy alone, so the scent stays even through the burn. Our glass jars are coconut soy. Our 3.5 oz tins are pure soy.
