How to use
Strawberry Shortcake has a thick whipped wax top, piped by hand. The whipped top needs time to melt down, so the first burn is the most important.
- For the first burn, let the whipped top melt down and the pool reach the edge of the jar. Allow two to three hours.
- Before every burn, shorten the wick to 6 mm.
- Burn it for up to four hours, then put it out and let the wax set.
- Use it in a room without draughts, on a heat-safe surface. Do not leave it lit when no one is in the room.
- The whipped top looks like cream, but it is wax. Keep the jar where small children and pets cannot reach it.
- When the wax is down to 1 cm, the candle is finished.
- Wash the empty jar in warm soapy water and use it as a plant pot or a storage jar.

Frequently asked questions
What does Strawberry Shortcake smell like?
Juicy strawberry with peach and coconut at the top, soft butter and shortcake biscuit in the middle, vanilla and sugar underneath. Bakery-sweet, not syrup-sweet.
Is it too strong for a small room?
At 10 oz it carries a long way. In a bedroom or a small office, start with an hour and let the room air between burns.
Is anything on this candle edible?
No. Everything you can see is wax and fragrance oil. Keep it away from small children and pets.
How long does a 10 oz candle burn?
45 to 55 hours, depending on how long you burn it each time and how draughty the room is.
Why is my candle burning down the middle?
That is tunnelling, set on the first burn. Let a new candle burn two to three hours until the melted wax reaches the edge of the jar.
Will it make me hungry?
Often, yes. That is the point of a dessert candle. If you would rather it did not, the floral range is the safer choice.
