How to use
Blueberry Waffles is a weekend breakfast scent. These steps keep the blueberry and the buttercream in balance from the first burn to the last.
- The first time, keep it lit for two to three hours, until the wax is melted to the glass on all sides.
- Keep the wick at 6 mm. A long wick gives a high flame and soot, and the soot smell covers the blueberry.
- Light it while you make breakfast. Put it at the far end of the table or counter, away from the stove.
- Four hours is the maximum for one burn.
- Never leave it lit in an empty room, and put it where children and pets cannot touch it.
- The moulded wax blueberries and the whipped top are not food. Both melt down as the candle burns.
- The last 1 cm of wax stays in the jar. Wash the jar and use it for pens or cotton buds.

Frequently asked questions
What does Blueberry Waffles smell like?
Ripe, sweet blueberry first, then buttercream frosting: butter, sugar and vanilla. We blend two fragrance oils to make this scent.
Does it smell like maple syrup?
No. There is no maple note. The sweetness comes from vanilla buttercream, not syrup.
Is it very sweet?
It is sweet, but the blueberry keeps it fresh. If you want less sweetness in a small room, burn it for one or two hours at a time.
Can I burn it in the kitchen while cooking?
Yes, and it holds its own against food smells. Keep it well away from the hob and anything that can catch fire.
Are the blueberries on top real?
No. They are moulded wax. Nothing on this candle is food, and the topping melts into the pool as it burns.
How long does a 10 oz candle burn?
45 to 55 hours, depending on how long you burn it each time and how draughty the room is.
