How to use
Maple Reverie is a 5 oz fall candle for one room. These steps keep the peach top note and the clove heart clear from the first burn to the last.
- On the first light, keep it lit until the white top layer is liquid from the wick to the glass. Plan two to three hours for this.
- Cut the wick back to 6 mm before you light it. Do not let the trimmings fall into the wax.
- Light it in the evening in a living room or a reading corner.
- In autumn, heating vents and radiators blow warm air. Keep the jar away from them so the flame does not smoke.
- One burn must not go past four hours. Put it out if you leave the room, and keep it away from children and pets.
- The wax maple leaf softens and melts into the pool during the first burns.
- When 1 cm of wax remains in the base, the candle is used up. Wash the jar and use it for dried flowers or pine cones.

Frequently asked questions
What does Maple Reverie smell like?
Fruit first: golden peach, orange and wild berries. Then maple leaf, cinnamon and clove. Tonka bean and musk sit at the base.
Does it smell like maple syrup?
No. The maple note is the leaf, not the syrup. The scent is fruit and spice, not a sweet pancake scent.
Is a 5 oz candle strong enough for a living room?
It suits one room, such as a living room, a bedroom or a home office. For a large open-plan space, a 10 oz candle carries further.
Is it only for fall?
It is made for fall and Thanksgiving. The cinnamon and clove also suit the winter months.
Is the maple leaf on top real?
No. It is moulded wax, set on the candle by hand. It melts into the pool as the candle burns.
How long does a 5 oz candle burn?
25 to 30 hours, depending on how long you burn it each time and how draughty the room is.
