How to use
Watermelon Oasis is a summer candle. Wax gets soft in heat, so these steps include what to do on hot days.
- First burn: two to three hours, until the green wax is liquid to the glass on all sides.
- A 6 mm wick gives the steadiest flame. Trim it before each burn.
- Keep the jar out of direct sun. On hot days, the whipped top can get soft before you light it.
- Do not put it near a fan or an open window. Moving air makes the flame smoke.
- Burn it for four hours or less. Never leave it lit when you leave the room, and keep it away from children and pets.
- The pink whipped wax and the dark wax seeds are not food. They soften and sink into the liquid wax.
- Do not burn the last 1 cm of wax. Wash the jar and use it for summer flowers from the garden.

Frequently asked questions
What does Watermelon Oasis smell like?
Watermelon, orange and banana at the top, melon flower, raspberry and white lily in the middle, and vanilla, sugar and tonka bean underneath. Fresh fruit first, sweet at the end.
Does it smell like watermelon sweets?
Not exactly. The top is fresh fruit. The vanilla and sugar base adds some sweetness, but the floral heart keeps it from smelling like candy.
Is it only a summer candle?
It suits summer best, but it is also the one to burn in a stuffy room in winter.
Are the seeds on top real?
No. They are wax, and they melt into the pool as the candle burns. Nothing on this candle is food.
Will it clash with a dessert candle in the next room?
It can. Fresh and bakery scents fight each other. Burn one at a time, or pair it with a floral instead.
How long does a 10 oz candle burn?
45 to 55 hours, depending on how long you burn it each time and how draughty the room is.
