Coconut soy wax solves this. Because it burns at a lower temperature than paraffin, fragrance oils release slowly and consistently through the full burn. Phthalate-free fragrance: what it means and why we care

We use premium phthalate-free fragrance oils across our entire dessert candle range. Phthalates are chemical compounds sometimes used in fragrance manufacturing that have raised concerns around indoor air quality. We avoid them entirely.

What you get instead is a fragrance oil chosen for scent quality, longevity, and safety — tested in our wax blend until we’re confident it performs exactly the way it should for the full 45–55 hour burn time.

Candle care

First burn: allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the jar — about 2–3 hours. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn for the life of the candle. Soy and coconut wax have burn memory: the wax will only ever melt as far as it did on that first burn.

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. Keep burns to a maximum of 4 hours. Keep away from drafts. Never leave burning candles unattended. Discontinue use when ¼ inch of wax remains.

The jar is reusable once the candle is spent — clean with warm soapy water.
